Hideaways
The Hideaways have been designed from the ground up for those who want to be closer to the land without leaving comfort behind. Three new timber cabins sit above the bay at Lochnell, each one oriented to make the most of the water, the light and the ever-changing theatre of the estate. A new development for 2026, the Hideaways speak of now - quietly considered spaces where floor-to-ceiling glass brings the outside in, and the only agenda is the tide.
restful wilderness
Location is everything - and our location is spectacular. With far-reaching views over the Lynn of Lorne across to the Isle of Mull to the West and the Ardnamurchan hills joining the mountains of Morvern to frame an idyllic vista to the North. Set in an elevated position, The Croft overlooks its own magnificent expansive beach - host to regular visitors in the shape of seals, soaring eagles and an array of other wildlife.
off-grid comfort
To stay at The Croft is to retreat. The property is not connected to mains electricity, with hot water and the kitchen both powered by gas. Lighting is provided by traditional lanterns and hurricane candles. And yet, the simple does not need to lack luxury - The Croft wraps its guests in an all-too rare kind of hospitality, for which Scotland’s West Coast is renowned.
Highland hospitality
From the moment you sweep off the track and amble up the hill towards the cottage, you enter another world. It’s a world of comfort, rest and relaxation. But it’s also a world familiar to countless generations that have gone before. Theirs is a way of life that offers much to those seeking an escape from the seeming confusion of the modern world. Take the chance to sample that welcome for which the West Coast is renowned, take in nearby Oban, explore the might of Glencoe and explore the rich history upon which our community is built.
